'Ossianic Ballads', new commission for National Library of Scotland

On 23rd September there's a performance of a new work I have been commissioned to write at the National Library of Scotland in Edinburgh. The 'Ossianic Ballads' are rhapsodies based on the heroic lays or laoidhean that came over from Ireland to the Highlands and Islands from the twelfth century onwards. The concert features the renowned Gaelic singer Màiri Macmillan and the Edinburgh Quartet, 'Scotland's string quartet'. Petworth Festival performances and new Anti Atlas single

This Saturday there are two performances of the Petworth Festival commission 'Bignor Hill'. It is being performed by the Asaka Quartet in Tillington church at Midday and Graffham church at 5pm, more details from the festival website.

The new Anti Atlas single 'My Way' has just been released. It's in the Apple Music alternative charts and is being played on Mountain Chill in Colorado Teerex Radio in Canada, UMFM- college network in Canada, FM 99 in Italy, Taiwan Lounge, IFE Brussels Airlines and others.

New commission for Petworth Festival

Ned has been commissioned to compose a new piece for the Asaka Quartet at the Petworth Festival next year. It is scheduled for performance in Tillington and Graffham churches on Saturday 15th July.
