Ned has just completed a commission for West Sussex County Council. Sonnet XCII is a four part choral setting of the poem by Charlotte Smith (1749-1806). Performance details tba.

We have now recorded four new pieces with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra at Henry Wood Hall in Glasgow. Gregory Rose conducted and the recording engineer was Calum Malcolm.

Up all night finishing the intro soundtrack for Life Unlimited. Then twelve string players, a trombonist and an amazing soprano in Angel Studios Islington for a 10am start. London session musicians are so on the case, it was a treat to work with them, and seems to have gone down well.

The Scottish Ensemble performed the Nairne Ballads at Crear in the Highlands. Unable to make it up there but apparently the pieces were well received.
